A precocious tomboy tricks her widower ethnobotanist father into making a spectacular journey across Borneo in hopes of curing him of melancholy. They must climb a cloud mountain, traverse a plunging waterfall, and reach the sea gypsies' village in time to swim under the light of the Supermoon. But a mysterious herbalist with his own agenda lures the pair deep into the jungle where the rainforest vibrates with strange songs, and bizarre creatures lurk. And as the young girl is washed away in the raging river, the ethnobotanist must battle his demons to find and retrieve his daughter before it is too late. |
